Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations
Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

Max, WCK’s Community Outreach Lead, is on a scouting trip in the Kulaura area of Bangladesh where families are just returning to their homes following monsoon flooding. These villages, normally accessible by land, can now only be reached by small boats. He’s working to identify vulnerable communities most in need of food and water.

A recent rise in Russian shelling is causing instability in the electric supply for the communities near Zolochiv in the Kharkiv region, just 12 miles from the frontline. Basic tasks like shopping for food are increasingly difficult. To support families in the area, WCK recently provided 1,200 food kits that include enough basic staples to create 22 meals per kit.
