Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

  • WCK is preparing meals that meet the nutritional needs of seniors seeking care at medical centers in central Gaza. At this facility in Deir al-Balah, we deliver 200 meals daily to patients and staff to ensure that nobody has to worry about where they will get their next meal.

  • The small village of Borova, now host to evacuees from other frontline areas in the Kharkiv region, has reopened to WCK deliveries after deadly Russian attacks there last month. To support the residents and evacuees currently in Borova, WCK delivered 1,400 food kits—providing enough food for people to make more than 30,000 meals.

  • Abdullah used to own a restaurant in Gaza City, but it was destroyed during the war and he was forced to flee to southern Gaza in search of safety. He now works alongside his brothers in WCK’s Deir al-Balah kitchen, cooking meals for communities of Palestinians who have also been displaced. He told us that his work with WCK is his only support during the war.
