Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

  • Since November, WCK has provided more than 1 million meals in Lebanon to families displaced by conflict along the southern border with Israel. We are working alongside Chef Corps member @alinekamakian, who is ensuring meals from our restaurant partners reach impacted communities.

  • WCK delivers much needed meal kits to the small town of Sadove on the banks of the Dnipro River in Kherson. This frontline village was flooded last summer after the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam, and the community now faces frequent shelling that has left few homes standing and severely damaged water, gas, and electric sources. Our consistent food and water deliveries to the people remaining in Sadove provide vital nourishment.

  • “It is a kind of irreplaceable opportunity, to live with dignity and hope in spite of this conflict that has made us lose what we love dearest.” Hoda has lost many of her loved ones in recent months and was displaced from her home in northern Gaza. She is now working with WCK, cooking meals for families who need them. This work helps provide for her remaining family, while also providing for her fellow Palestinians.
