Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

  • Today, the WCK team at Damian’s Kitchen is celebrating reaching the 1 million meal mark in just two months of cooking. This Field Kitchen in central Gaza is named after Damian Soból, one of our team members killed in an IDF strike on April 1. Our Palestinian team in Mawasi continues to honor Damian’s love for others and drive to serve, working every day to provide meals for people who need them.

  • Rescue crews from across Venezuela arrived to help local firefighters in Cumanacoa shortly after Hurricane Beryl caused catastrophic flooding. As they assessed the area, they supported WCK’s meal distribution efforts in the region, helping ensure meals reached anyone in need.
