Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

Food is life.” Ken picked up fresh meals at a WCK distribution point in Carriacou—he lives in Grenada, but he is here helping repair his family’s home after Hurricane Beryl.

  • “This simple nursery is where the farmers built beds, planted them, and World Central Kitchen asked for produce. So they started to supply all their produce to WCK, and this encouraged more and more farmers to join us, and every day World Central Kitchen’s initiative increased.” Salam is one of the farmers growing produce in Deir al-Balah, supplying our kitchens in Gaza with nourishing local ingredients.

  • WCK teams in St. Vincent and the Grenadines have been delivering sandwiches to communities devastated by Hurricane Beryl since right after the storm passed. On Canouan, we are working shoulder to shoulder with locals to ensure sandwiches reach anyone in need.
