Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations
Jason began working with WCK in 2017 during the Thomas Fire in California and has since assisted with various WCK efforts, across the US and internationally. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, where he launched several successful businesses. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Response Operations, Jason oversees all of our relief work— from emergency response to special operations. He also utilizes his experience in procurement and operations to help our field operations run smoothly. When not working, Jason’s passions include his wife and two children, football, and the outdoors.

WCK’s Melissa is in Antigua as our Relief Team mobilizes across the Caribbean to reach the islands hit hardest by Hurricane Beryl—the strongest storm to hit the region this early into hurricane season. A team is already in St. Vincent and the Grenadines preparing hundreds of sandwiches that we will distribute as we assess needs across the islands. This is a quickly evolving situation—we’ll share more information as soon as we have it.

Update from Rita, WCK’s Emergency Coordinator in Dnipro, Ukraine, who is directing our response to Friday’s Russian missile attack on a residential building. Our team was on the scene soon after the attack with sandwiches, snacks, and drinks for impacted residents and first responders. We will remain on site as rescue efforts are ongoing.
