Ramadan in North Gaza
The team at WCK’s North Star Field Kitchen prepared meals for a communal iftar in Beit Lahia. Iftar is a moment for communities to come together in celebration of generosity and gratitude. This event in Beit Lahia in March provided a place for families to gather and break their fast with a comforting meal.

As Ramadan settles on the world, we find ourselves called to our humanity: to transform empathy into action and kindness into relief. In addition to our lofty goal of 5M meals, we are prepared to serve 50,000 meals a day in Lebanon!

Since October 7, 2023, WCK has worked tirelessly to bring comfort and nourishment to Palestinians caught in the crossfire of escalating violence. Our teams have been on the ground in Gaza and Lebanon, adapting daily to deliver meals to individuals and families who have lost everything. We’ve delivered over 122M meals to Gaza since October 7, 2023, and this Ramadan we plan to serve over 5M meals with your support.
In Gaza
Our teams have navigated severe restrictions on humanitarian aid to deliver over 122 million meals by land, sea, and air to Gaza. We established four large-scale Field Kitchens in southern and central Gaza, and we’ve partnered with local organizations to distribute food in the north. We’ve also developed a network of Palestinian-led, WCK-supported community kitchens producing thousands of meals every day.
In spite of the loss of our WCK teammates in Gaza, we continue with compassion and empathy to feed Palestinians in need. Our dedicated Gaza team exemplifies the meaning of resilience in every meal they serve.
In Lebanon
Hostilities along the Israel-Lebanon border have displaced over 100,000 Lebanese, and a surge in violence since September 2024 has uprooted an additional 92,000 people. Families once secure in their homes now find themselves searching for safety and stability.
Through it all, WCK and our local partners serve tens of thousands of comforting, hot meals featuring Lebanese flavors that nourish both body and spirit. We’ve also responded to natural disasters—like last winter’s severe flooding—ensuring that people who suffer are not forgotten.
